Short Story Review: Dion’s Redemption by J.D. Walker

I love the little bits of wisdom dropped in books. In this one:

Life can be hard. Sometimes it’s just plain shitty. But sometimes there’s something good hiding behind something terrible. And sometimes you’ll find love in the place you least expect it.

All the best stories are about relationships. Meet Dion and Nolan. Neither of them have what you might call an easy life. Dion takes care of his brother Dimitry, and most people call him a slumlord. Nolan is taking care of his dying grandfather. But then…

This was a short, sweet story.

Thanks to NetGalley and Less Than Three Press for a copy in return for an honest review.
