The first thing that strikes you about this book is the richness of the art. It’s gorgeous. Without using a single word, you can almost hear the quiet rustle of the grass as the fox stalks its prey. Feel the wind as it blows the leaves. Hear the warm snort of the musk ox.
You can feel the cycle of life as each species struggles for life in this wilderness.
Then, when the unthinkable happens (I’m not going to give much away) you can feel the animals’ fear. You can hear the rumble of the earth.
It’s awesome to see a book that can be easily translatable regardless of language.
